Welcome to my homepage!
I am a scholar of global governance and international order, working at the intersection of legitimacy, norm contestation, and great-power rivalry. My research examines how competition between major powers—particularly the United States and China—reshapes development and peace governance in a period of institutional transformation.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholm University and a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Global Research Institute at William & Mary in the United States. I also hold a Taiwan Fellowship at the Center for China Studies, National Taiwan University. My research is supported by a Swedish Research Council (VR) International Postdoctoral Grant.
My research investigates how legitimacy is constructed, contested, and strategically mobilized in global development finance and peacebuilding. I analyze how hegemonic retrenchment, institutional complexity, and power asymmetries interact across regions to shape governance outcomes.
My scholarship has appeared in journals including The Pacific Review and International Peacekeeping. In parallel, I maintain engagement with policy communities, contributing research and advisory expertise to international organizations and government partners.
Prior to completing my Ph.D. in International Relations at Stockholm University (2024), I worked at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and as a field practitioner in Cambodia. These experiences continue to inform my research on development and peace governance.
